Vantaa explores experiences on electric scooters – answer the survey by May 31st
The electric scooter survey explores the opinions of Vantaa residents and other people moving in Vantaa regarding electric scooters. The material gained will be used to support transport planning.
The data gained from the survey will help Vantaa better understand both the plusses and potential problems connected with electric scooters, as expressed by the residents. The results will be used, on the one hand, to improve the conditions for electric scootering and, on the other hand, to solve problems caused by using electric scooters. The city has received feedback on, among other things, the problems caused by parking electric scooters on passageways.
In addition to transport planning, the results of the survey will be utilized as part of a master's thesis conducted at Aalto University.
Private companies provide electric scooters in Vantaa. In 2024, three electric scooter companies operated in Vantaa. The total number of electric scooters owned by the three companies exceeded 1,000 scooters.
