Bookbus brings culture and art near you - you can suggest a name for the bus until July 31
Vantaa’s new book and culture bus is an open and barrier-free meeting place, meant for everybody, as well as a cultural ambassador applicable to myriad purposes. The bus takes culture and art, as well as library and museum services to families, daycare centers, schools, and communities. The bus will also visit various events and residential parks.
The book and culture bus has multipurpose indoor premises, which is one of its major plusses. The premises can be easily adapted to various purposes, for example, events or museum exhibitions. The technology of the bus also enables movies and musical performances, playing console games, and karaoke.
You can see the new bus driving along its route already at the end of May, and after the summer break, again in the fall. You will find the schedules and the map of stops online at helmet.fi.
You can also browse the bus’ progress along their routes and stops on the map in real time.
