The City of Vantaa extends its condolences to the relatives of the child that died in the accident in Kuusijärvi Recreation Centre Vantaa

One of the two children injured in the accident in Kuusijärvi Recreation Centre Vantaa last week has died. The City of Vantaa extends its condolences to the relatives and friends of the family whose child died.

The accident took place last week, on Friday, July 26, at Kuusijärvi beach. Two under-10-year-old children were reported missing, and they were a bit later found lifeless in the water. Resuscitation was immediately begun, after which the children were taken to a hospital.

The other injured child remains in inpatient care, in critical condition. 

Eastern Uusimaa Police Department will next inform about the matter when the preliminary investigation is finished.
