One of the topics discussed was the Generators of Hope campaign of the European Parliament and the Eurocities network: thanks to donations made in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area early in the year, nearly 120 generators, heaters and other devices will be delivered to Ukraine.

Together with the Eurocities network, the campaign and our support for Ukraine will continue,” said Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament.
In addition to Metsola, the meeting was attended by Antti Timonen, Deputy Spokesperson of the President, and Jarmo Oikarinen, Head of European Parliament Office in Finland.
