Cooperation with organizations

The city supports organizational activities by granting subsidies, i.e., financial assistance.  It is advisable for organizations to familiarize themselves with different types of grants to understand which ones they can apply for and when applications must be submitted.

The city also offers premises for organizational activities.  Organizations can apply for time slots on city-owned premises, meaning scheduled times when they can use the space for their activities.

In addition, organizations can apply for recruitment support from the city to help cover the costs of hiring employees. 

Through the city’s cooperation networks and regional events, organizations can connect with other organizations and stakeholders in Vantaa and receive up-to-date information relevant to their activities. Furthermore, organizations can submit information about their own events and activities to Vantaa’s event calendar and hobby calendar.  You can explore activities organized by others in Vantaa through these calendars, as well.

The city cooperates with organizations in many other ways, for example, through various projects.  Organizations help the city reach and hear from groups that might otherwise remain outside the city’s official participation channels.

Moreover, organizations can participate in the tendering of the city's public acquisitions.

Sports club network brings together sports clubs and associations in Vantaa. The city’s Sports Services coordinates the network and organizes forums and meetings for operative managers about twice a year. More information is available here.

Regional community work networking cafés bring together stakeholders from specific major regions of Vantaa.  All local actors are welcome, offering an opportunity to connect with others in your area.  You will find more information on the Event Calendar by using the search word verkostokahvit (“network cafés”).

Digital support network brings together city actors and organizations that provide guidance on online services and the use of digital devices. More information is available here.

Network for foreign-language-speaking stay-at-home parents operates within the Advisory Vantaa network. It brings together various actors, including organizations and employees from the wellbeing services county and the city, who work with this group. More information is available here.

Organization Forum is an event organized by the City of Vantaa that brings together local associations, clubs, and organizations approximately once a year for networking and discussions on current themes.
