Urban culture house town planning starts – residentsʼ meeting on 25.10.
The City of Vantaa Cultural Center in Myyrmäki will be built between 2023 and 2031. The project consists of two separate buildings and an event square connecting them.
Resident survey provided more information on the problems of the Pitkäjärvi catchment area
A resident survey conducted in May collected residents' experiences of flooding and eutrophication problems in the Pitkäjärvi catchment area. The information will be utilised in a project to find solutions for the area’s problems by means of natural water management.

The health authority has discontinued its recommendation to boil water. All water samples are clean, and water can again be used normally.

The water boiling recommendation has been given on 15.9.2023 at 21.00. Water in must be boiled for at least 5 minutes before it can be drunk or used for cooking. Before cooking, drain water from the tap so the chlorinated water exits the house.

The City of Vantaa will host a Käärijä gig at Louhela Jam on Sunday, June 4th, 2023. In addition to Käärijä, twenty other great jam bands will perform at the event. The event is free of charge.
