Every year, the City of Vantaa's jubilee fund for children and youth provides hobby support for up to a thousand Vantaa children and young people. With the support, more children are able to take part in hobbies.

Why are hobbies important?

  • Hobbies are important for a child’s wellbeing.
  • Taking part in hobbies supports the social skills, confidence and overall wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Hobbies prevent marginalization and support the social inclusion of the young.

With the support of the jubilee fund, every child has the opportunity to improve themselves and to discover their passion, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
