Influence Vantaa - Voxit discussions
Voxit discussions offer a constructive and anonymous way to participate in the decision-making of the city.
The views of residents on current topics relating to the city’s development will be collected through Voxit discussions.
Join the discussion – How should the different districts of Vantaa be developed?
You can now participate in the development of your own area!
What are the good things in your area that should be preserved? What should be improved or renewed? What kinds of services are needed in the area? What do you think? Respond to the discussion's statements. If you want, you can also add your own statements to the discussion and highlight perspectives that are important to you. The discussion is open from January 15 to February 13, 2026.
The results of the discussion will be used in the development of Vantaa. In 2026, the city will prepare development plans for all seven major districts of Vantaa, namely Kivistö, Myyrmäki, Aviapolis, Tikkurila, Korso, Koivukylä, and Hakunila. The development plans will define, among other things, what new city services are needed in the districts. Is there a need for new playgrounds, sports facilities, or some other service provided by the city?
The discussions will address the development needs of Vantaa by major district. Each district will have its own discussion, meaning that there will be seven simultaneous discussions. You can participate in one or more discussions.
You can check the City of Vantaa map service to see which major area your residential area belongs to.
What is Voxit?
Voxit (formerly Polis) is an online discussion platform that offers residents a constructive and anonymous way to participate in the decision-making of the city.
The starting points for Vantaa’s Voxit discussions are initial statements made by the city, which the participants of the discussion can comment on. For each statement, participants can state whether they agree or disagree. Participants can provide the reasons for their opinion, if they wish. The statements can also be skipped.
Participants can also submit their own statements to the platform, which others can then comment on.
The discussion platform is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
Vantaa has received funding for the use of Voxit from Sitra.
