Vantaa owns six outdoor recreation areas with public camp kitchens and outside toilets.

You are welcome to camp in the city’s recreation areas and on the islands. Some of the outdoor areas are managed by local caravan associations and there is a fee for camping and caravans.
Fishing in the recreational areas is allowed in designated areas. You must have a valid fishing permit.

Bjurs
The Bjurs camping site (Bjursintie 303, 10270 Barösund) is located in the municipality of Inkoo, along the boat routes west from Helsinki. The Bjurs camping site is rented to Bjursin Vaunuilijat ry, which is responsible for the use and maintenance of the site. The main part of the area is located in the south of the island of Orslandet, the rest in the archipelago off the island. The camping site is intended for people enjoying the outdoors, campers and caravanners.
