Update 13.11.2023 Additional provisions on poultry keeping removed - No bird flu detected in Vantaa
No cases of avian influenza have been detected in Vantaa. However, poultry and pet birds should be kept indoors or in a densely netted outdoor enclosure.

According to the National Institute for Health and Welfare's (THL) school health survey, the majority of Vantaa children and the young are satisfied with their lives and like school attendance. The results were published in September 2023.
Water can be used as usual in the buildings in Petikko, Vantaa
The health authority has discontinued its recommendation to boil water. All water samples are clean, and water can again be used normally.
Water must be boiled in some buildings in Petikko, Vantaa
The water boiling recommendation has been given on 15.9.2023 at 21.00. Water in must be boiled for at least 5 minutes before it can be drunk or used for cooking. Before cooking, drain water from the tap so the chlorinated water exits the house.
Autumn service hours for Vantaa multilingual guidance from August 14
Multilingual guidance will move to familiar service hours on Monday August 14, 2023.

Pupil and student welfare means for example psychologist, school social worker and health care services, which are organized in Vantaa in daycare centers, schools, high schools and Vocational College Varia.
