Knowhow and involvement – children and the young to participate in making more sustainable food culture
The goal of the project is to increase eating percentages while simultaneously diminishing Meal Services’ carbon footprint, as well as to teach children and the young the principles of sustainable lifestyles.
Meals at day care
The purpose of day care or pre-primary school meals is to provide children with nutritious and tasty food that meets the nutrition recommendations. A meal is served every day the child attends day care or pre-primary education.

Student meals and menus
Our educational institutes serve a free of charge meal for the students. The purpose of student meals is to provide students with nutritious and tasty food that meets the nutrition recommendations.
Menus
In the City of Vantaa, the meal service providers are Vantaan Tilapalvelut Vantti Oy, Palmia Oy, Attendo Oy, Compass Group Finland Oy and JPS Palvelut Oy. Vantaan Tilapalvelut Vantti Oy produces food for most schools and daycare centers.
