Vantaa’s Food Waste Project Wins Prestigious Milan Pact Awards 2025
The City of Vantaa and Yhteinen pöytä’s collaborative initiative to reduce food waste has been internationally recognized with a Milan Pact Awards 2025 prize. Vantaa received the award for its innovative and impactful work in promoting sustainable urban food policy.
Housing for everyone project

Building of Tikkurila Competence Campus’ streets and parks to begin in the fall
Building the campus begins by building the streets and parks in the course of the year 2024. In addition to the competence campus, the area will house workplaces, housing, as well as versatile services.
