Veterinary clinic
Basic care for small animals is provided by the veterinary clinic of the City of Vantaa. The services are intended for the pets of Vantaa residents only.
Import and export of animals
Before you bring an animal into Finland or take animal abroad, please find out what vaccinations, medication and documentation, or other requirements, should be considered.
Food poisoning or waterborne outbreaks
If you suspect that food, drinking water or bathing water has made you ill, please report it to the Environment Centre as quickly as possible.
Food control
The Environment Centre of Vantaa controls the safety and health-related quality of food as well as compliance with food regulations.
Housing and health
The Environment Centre investigates health hazards in cases where the owner of a building fails to carry out the necessary investigations and take corrective action.

We are an adult education centre financed by the City of Vantaa. There are no entrance requirements to our courses. With us, you will learn useful skills or discover new leisure time hobbies. Every year we arrange about 2000 courses around Vantaa.
Apprenticeship studies
An apprenticeship can be used to obtain any upper secondary-level vocational qualification. With an apprenticeship, you learn by doing: you get paid and accumulate your work experience.
Advance voting
The advance polling stations will be open on weekdays from 9:00 to 20:00 and on weekends, as a general rule, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Street maintenance
The maintenance work carried out by the city includes cleaning and ploughing of the street and market areas, prevention of slipperiness and the transport of snow to reception areas.
