The mayor's 2024 budget proposal was published on October 2. Vantaa invests in growth and the future. In practice, this means that, for example, schools and daycare centers are built by €103 million and additional appropriations are targeted at new sports facilities.
Investments in leisure time increase overall wellbeing and enjoyment. The biggest investment in urban development is Vantaa light rail whose building is scheduled to begin in late 2024.
