The national children's culture week, May 9 - 15, 2022, offers plenty of free-of-charge program to the entire family.

Vantaa’s program during the week consists of concerts, theater, workshops, and exhibitions. The events will take place at Pessi, Toteemi and Pyykkitupa children’s cultural centers. 

Two celebrations to end the week 

The children’s culture celebration will take place on Saturday, May 14, at 10:30-13:00, at Children's Art Center Pessi.

On Sunday, May 15, the new Children’s Cultural Center Pyykkitupa will have its opening celebration at Håkansböle manor in Hakunila at 14:00-14:30.

Celebrating children’s culture all over Finland    

The children’s culture festival week will be celebrated all over Finland on May 9-15, 2022. During the week, art created by children and the young will be made visible, children’s culture will be celebrated, and executors of children’s culture will be highlighted. Thirty-five centers all over Finland—members of The Association of Finnish Children’s Cultural Centers—will produce the program of the festival week. The Association of Finnish Children’s Cultural Centers will coordinate the festival week.
