Welcome to Vantaa event for new Vantaa residents

The city walks alongside the people of Vantaa. We want every new resident to find the services they need in Vantaa, as well as meaningful activities and hobbies. It’s also important for new residents to find communities and get information about their opportunities to participate and make a difference.

The City of Vantaa and its partners organize welcome events for new residents. These events take place in different areas of Vantaa on a rotating basis. The next Welcome to Vantaa event will be held in Tikkurila, Science Centre Heureka.

Welcome to Vantaa event 2026

• Date and time: Thursday 7.5.2026 at 16:00–20:00
• Location: Finnish Science Centre Heureka
• Address: Tiedepuisto 1, Vantaa (Tikkurila)
• For whom: All new residents of Vantaa

The event is free, and you can visit Heureka free of charge.
However, advance registration is required.

Registration for the event starts on Monday, March 30th at 8:00 AM from this link.

At the event, you can:

• Learn about services and opportunities that will make your everyday life in Vantaa easier
• Explore Heureka's exhibitions
• Experience enchanting films at Heureka's planetarium
• Enjoy performances and a relaxed atmosphere
• Meet other new residents of Vantaa 

The main languages of the event are Finnish, Swedish, and English.
