The City of Vantaa and its partners organize welcome events for new residents. Registration opens on Mon, March 30, for the Welcome to Vantaa event taking place at Heureka on May 7. You’re warmly welcome to join on your own, with family, or with a friend!

The City of Vantaa and its partners organize welcome events for new residents. These events take place in different areas of Vantaa on a rotating basis. The next Welcome to Vantaa event will be held in Tikkurila, Science Centre Heureka.

Tips for a Smooth Event Day for Guests
Arriving at the event
- Registration for the event starts at 4:00 PM.
You can arrive at a time that suits you between 4:00 and 7:30 PM.
The first programme item starts at 5:00 PM.
If you can’t attend, please cancel your registration by email: tapahtumat.vantaa-info@vantaa.fi
Entry is based on the name used for registration. If you registered, for example, 3 people, this number includes you as well.
At registration, each registered attendee will receive a refreshment voucher. With the voucher, you can pick up a mini doughnut and juice or water free of charge near the Auditorium. Heureka’s Science Restaurant will be open throughout the event.
- Please be prepared for crowding. The event is fully booked (1,000 registered attendees). In addition, Heureka will be open to other visitors on the event day. Heureka may therefore be busier than usual. During peak times, the queue may extend outdoors. Please dress according to the weather.
