Early childhood education decisions made earlier have been resent to customer families due to system malfunction Early childhood education's VaSa system (CgiVesa) was updated on Monday, January 8, 2024. Because of an error in the update, some of the customers will receive by mail old early childhood education’s place or scope decisions that are related to, for instance, year 2022. 

We are currently inspecting the situation with the system supplier. According to current information, at issue are around 3,000 old decisions. 

Families do not have to react to these old decisions mailed to them; neither will they cause any changes in the children’s valid early childhood education or preschool education decisions. If you have any doubts about whether the decision is a new one or sent to you due to the system error, please check the decision date at the top of the letter.
