Register your child as a Vantaa Culture Kid – free art experiences from infancy to school age
The City of Vantaa invites every child born in 2023 or after to become a Vantaa Culture Kid. Registered Culture Kids can access diverse and free events around Vantaa every year. During the season, more than 150 events are offered — ranging from dance theatre and concerts to colour workshops and music sessions for young children.

Vantaa Culture Kids can participate in performances, concerts, exhibitions and workshops together with a parent, grandparent or other close adult. Events are organized at venues such as cultural premises and museums around Vantaa. The activities are intended for everyone, regardless of their mother tongue. There are also wordless, plain language and multilingual events available.
Event tip
The international Bravo! Children’s Culture Festival brings the Danish Aaben Dans performance What is that? to Vantaa. This dance piece about the driving force of curiosity will be shown on Thursday, 19 March 2026 at 11:00 at the Vernissa Cultural Factory (Tikkurilantie 36, 01300 Vantaa).
Aaben Dans is one of Denmark’s best-known dance companies. Their works bring contemporary dance to young audiences in a warm and accessible way. The wordless performance lasts 45 minutes. Free of charge, but advance registration is required.

This is how you join the activities
If your child lives in Vantaa and was born in 2023 or after, the child’s guardian can register the child as a Culture Kid.
1. Register your child as a Culture Kid.
2. We will send information about events to your e-mail. This will continue until your child turns 7 years old.
3. Book tickets for the events.
