Vantaa City Executive Board approved the disposition plan for Väritehdas area
In its meeting on May 12, Vantaa City Executive Board approved the disposition plan for Väritehdas area. New homes and workplaces will be built in Väritehdas area for thousands of people.
The disposition plan for Väritehdas area in Tikkurila will dictate the region's development in the long run. The area will be covered by a local detailed plan and built in stages.
The disposition plan makes it possible to place, on estimate, 3,500-4,500 residents and 2,500-3,000 jobs in the area.
The area will be developed into a versatile, sustainable, high-quality residential, workplace and recreation area that will be turned into a center combining old and new.
The sustainable mobility area and both physically and functionally colorful city blocks will be interlocked with a green park city.
