NewsSchools will start in Vantaa next week. We have painted colourful footprints along schoolchildren’s routes to remind us all that children will soon be back on their way to school. There are also Vantaa light rail worksites near schools, and we want to ensure a safe journey to school for every child.

Construction of the Vantaa Light Rail Begins on Fazerintie and Rivieranraitio
NewsConstruction of the Vantaa Light Rail will start in the Rivieranraitio and Fazerintie area on 3 August. The first phase includes a site inspection and tree felling, after which municipal infrastructure, site fencing and temporary diversion routes will be built in the area.

NewsVantaa light rail rock excavation works will begin at Tikkurila station during the week starting 10 August. Some blasting will take place at night, as train traffic is lighter at that time and the works must be carried out around railway operations.
