Vantaa light rail worksite expands on Aviabulevardi
The Vantaa light rail worksite is expanding on Aviabulevardi. The roundabout at Mekaanikontie and Karhumäenportti will be closed to vehicle traffic during the week starting 3 August. Access to all properties will be maintained.

Vantaa light rail works began on Aviabulevardi in the spring. Works carried out in the area include municipal engineering relocations and excavation works. This week, the worksite will expand to the roundabout at Mekaanikontie and Karhumäenportti. Municipal engineering relocation works will begin within the roundabout area.
The roundabout will be closed to vehicle traffic during the week starting 3 August. Access to all properties will be maintained. An alternative route for vehicle traffic is available via the intersection of Turbiinitie and Aviabulevardi further north. Pedestrian and cycling access through the roundabout will remain available, but the routes will change slightly. They will be signposted on site. Routes in the area are also shown on the map.
