Traffic routes in Virkamies will change starting 9 March
The construction of the Vantaa Light Rail is progressing in the Virkamies area. Through traffic on Toinen savu will be cut off on 9 March. Alternative vehicle routes are via Pakkalantie and Lentoasemantie.

Blasting works for the Vantaa Light Rail will begin in Kirjastopuisto next week. The estimated duration of the works is 23.2–30.04. Some stages of the work will cause noise.

The closure of Vanha Porvoontie between Kyytitie and Kokkokalliontie will last longer than announced – the road will reopen to vehicle traffic on 23 February 2026
Vanha Porvoontie between Kyytitie and Kokkokalliontie had to be closed due to an old concrete duct discovered in the intersection area. The duct had been marked as removed, but excavation revealed that it remains in place over a long distance.
