Work causing significant noise will begin on Kyytitie in early 2026
On Kyytitie, work that cause significant noise will begin in early 2026. The work will take place in the area of the Heidehofintie roundabout and from the Porttisuontie roundabout towards the Lahdenväylä.
During construction works on Länsimäentie, a rock formation has been encountered that requires the start of a noisy work phase on 8 January 2026.
In connection with construction works carried out on Länsimäentie, next to Porvoonväylä, bedrock has been encountered. The works in the area are related to water supply infrastructure, which makes rock excavation necessary. Blasting works in the area will begin at the earliest on Thursday, 8 January
Tikkurilantie will be closed to through traffic between Puutarhatie and Kielotie starting January 7th, 2026
Due to the construction phase of the Vantaa light rail, we will gradually close Tikkurilantie to through traffic starting in January. In the first phase, we will work between Puutarhatie and Kielotie. This section of Tikkurilantie will be closed to through traffic, and works will begin on January
Track interruptions were successfully completed in Tikkurila
All six tracks at Tikkurila station are once again in normal use. The track closures began in June, with each track being closed in turn. The construction of the Vantaa tram has progressed on schedule at Tikkurila station, and traffic has run smoothly without disruptions.
