Detour on Tilustie due to water utility works
Construction of water and wastewater infrastructure on Tilustie will begin in week 24. The detour built in the area will be taken into use in stages as the work progresses.
Information about the works and traffic arrangements
The construction of water utilities starts at the southern end of the street and proceeds gradually northwards. The existing street will serve as a work area, which is why access to properties will be arranged via a temporary detour road built on the opposite side of the street. Property access connections will be implemented from the detour on a case-by-case basis. The wide detour allows for roadside parking during the construction period.
After the completion of the water utility works, the structural layers of the new street, other municipal infrastructure, and surface layers will be built on Tilustie. The construction of track structures will also begin in stages on the other side of the street area. Construction work on Tilustie will continue until the end of 2028.
