Construction of the Vantaa light rail is progressing in the Aviapolis area. From 18 May onwards, routes for vehicle traffic and buses will be relocated from Aviabulevardi to Turbiinitie. Please check the on-date local transport information in the HSL app.
Vehicle traffic routes starting 18 May.
Construction of the Vantaa light rail is progressing in the Aviapolis area. Works will begin on Aviabulevardi on 18 May, after which Turbiinitie will serve as the replacement route for vehicle traffic and buses. The worksite areas and replacement routes for vehicle traffic are shown on the attached map.
According to current plans, through traffic on Aviabulevardi will remain closed until the end of 2027. We apologise for any inconvenience. Pedestrian and cycling routes will remain in use on the western side of Aviabulevardi, including the section west of Toinen Savu.
HSL bus routes will also be diverted to Turbiinitie starting 18 May. Please check the most up-to-date bus routes in the HSL Journey Planner or other HSL channels.
