VaSa service
VaSa service allows you to take care of issues related to early childhood education online.
You can use VaSa to
- apply for an early childhood education place
- enroll in early childhood education
- apply for a place in an early childhood education club
- accept an early childhood education place and a club place granted
When your child is a customer of early childhood education, you can
- add information on the child’s allergies and special diets
- give early childhood education consents (e.g., publishing consent)
- update your own and another applicant’s contact information
- send an income statement related to early childhood education payments
- read early childhood education decisions.
This is how you log in VaSa
The VaSa service works best when using the two latest browser versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari. The service does not function when using Internet Explorer or older Edge browser versions.
You can also use VaSa with a cellphone app. In application stores, you will find the VaSa service under the name CGI Vesa.

Inquiries about using the VaSa service, for example, in case you cannot find your child's information on VaSa, or you have trouble logging in the service. This email is not protected; do not send any specific personal data through it.
Applying for early childhood education on the VaSa service
You can fill in the application for early childhood education electronically in the VaSa service. You must log in to the application with the Suomi.fi identification method by using your online banking IDs, mobile certificate or certificate card. You can edit the application after submitting it as well as track its process in the service. You can download mobile app, called CGI Vesa in application stores.
When the need for early childhood education is urgent because of employment or studies, you must attach an employment contract or a notification of having received a place of study to your application. If the child needs early childhood education during evenings, nights and/or weekends, you must also attach a certificate from your employer or the organiser of the education.
