By focusing on Vantaa's cultural richness and daily life, this exhibition reflects a universal truth: meaning and beauty are ever-present, even in the most ordinary aspects of our existence.

The “spark” isn't about finding a grand purpose or passion, but about realizing that life itself, in its simplest moments, is worth cherishing. 

The twenty photographs, capturing Vantaa's daily rhythms, showcase these moments of subtle beauty. They invite us to slow down, engage with the familiar, and rediscover life from a renewed perspective.

The authenticity of human life from the perspective of Vantaa's culture

Loc Nguyen, a Vietnamese photographer who has lived in Finland since 2017, has contributed his artistic vision to Vantaan Kaupunki since June 2023.

Nguyen’s photography captures the raw authenticity and honest beauty of human life, viewed through a cultural lens. His work evokes a sense of connection and freedom. The exhibition is also his expression of deep gratitude and appreciation for Finland, embracing its values and traditions.

Supported by Vantaan Kaupunki, the exhibition is a part of the Vantaa 50 celebration.

The exhibition will be on display during Vantaa-info's opening hours in Tikkurila from October 14th to November 4th, and in Myyrmäki from November 5th to 25th:
