The city gives out grants for events, activities, and projects that make Vantaa a better place to live. You need to apply for operating grants for organizations and artist grants during a specific application period, but you can apply for targeted grants throughout the year.

Grants for health and welfare promotion
Organizations, communities, or action groups whose operations promote Vantaa residents' health and welfare may be entitled to the grants. The next application period is on February 1-28, 2023.
Cultural grants and awards
Every year, the Urban Culture and Wellbeing Committee awards grants for cultural activities.
Youth grants
The Urban Culture and Wellbeing committee annually awards grants to youth activities.
Local civic activity grants
Local civic activity grants are meant for supporting activities invigorating the city.
