The city walks alongside the people of Vantaa. We want every new resident to find the services they need in Vantaa, as well as meaningful activities and hobbies. It’s also important for new residents to find communities and get information about their opportunities to participate and make a difference.

The City of Vantaa and its partners organize welcome events for new residents and those planning to move to Vantaa. The main languages of the event are Finnish, Swedish, and English.

The event is free of charge.
However, you must register in advance.

Welcome events are organized in collaboration with various organizations that provide activities, services, and guidance to Vantaa residents.

The event offers the opportunity to:

  • help build a community-oriented Vantaa that welcomes all new residents.

We hope to receive applications from a wide range of organizations, such as City of Vantaa departments, the welfare sector, and non-profit organizations.
