Works on the Vantaa light rail expand to Ratakuja
Construction of the Vantaa light rail will soon begin on Ratakuja as well. According to current plans, Ratakuja will be designated as a worksite during the week starting 4 May. At that time, Ratakuja will be closed to both vehicle traffic and pedestrians.

Rataparkki will operate normally throughout the construction period. During the work, access to Rataparkki will be provided from Ratatie, following the route marked with a blue line on the map. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout the construction via alternative routes, and Dixi will operate as normal.
During the week starting 11 May, emergency escape spiral staircases will be installed in two properties on Ratakuja. the affected properties will be informed separately.
Some phases of the work will cause noise. Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. We apologise for any inconvenience.
According to current plans, construction of the light rail on Ratakuja will continue until 2029. Once the works are completed, Ratakuja will be restored, and the light rail will pass underneath it smoothly through a tunnel.
