Welcome to visit the light rail tunnel on 24 October
We are organising an opportunity for everyone to visit the light rail tunnel on 24 October from 11 am to 2 pm.
At the viewing area, you can admire the underground scenery and see the excavation below the tracks. Light rail construction workers will be present, and you can ask them questions about the light rail tunnel and its construction.
The gate is located east of the northern underpass at Tikkurila station (near Lidl on Jokiniemenkatu). Please dress according to the weather and wear sturdy outdoor shoes. In the excavation area, visitors must follow a marked and fenced route.
NOTE! The route is not accessible. Access to the tunnel is via a steep and hilly gravel road, which may be muddy and slippery, especially when it rains.
