Introduction of a temporary access ramp to Tikkuparkki
Construction of the Vantaa light rail is ongoing in Kirjastopuisto. According to current plans, a temporary access ramp to Tikkuparkki will be introduced on 10 July. It is located next to the current ramp, closer to the library. Tikkuparkki will operate as normal throughout the construction period.
Through traffic on Ratatie is closed to all traffic at Ratakuja from 27 July to 31 August.
Vantaa light rail works will continue in Tikkurila during the summer. Through traffic on Ratatie will be closed to all traffic from 27 July to 31 August. During this time, a bridge will be installed on Ratatie over Ratakuja, under which the light rail tunnel will be constructed.
Pedestrian overpasses on Hakunilantie to be demolished in June – works carried out at night
The demolition of the pedestrian overpasses on Hakunilantie at Hakunila shopping centre (Kaviopolku), Raudikkopolku, and Hevoshaanpolku will be carried out in three phases in June. The work will take place at night. The demolition is not expected to cause significant noise in the area.
Working hours at Vantaa light rail construction sites during the Midsummer weekend
There is very little work at Vantaa light rail construction sites during the Midsummer weekend from 19 to 21 June. No planned noisy work is scheduled. On Hakunilantie, the Raudikkopolku pedestrian overpass will be demolished, causing a traffic closure during the night between 21 and 22 June.
Pedestrian and cycling routes on Aviabulevardi will change
The pedestrian and cycling route on Aviabulevardi will be closed during the week starting 22 June. An alternative route is available via Turbiinitie. Aviabulevardi was closed to vehicle traffic in May.
