Changes to traffic arrangements on Hakunilantie between Raudikkokuja and Hevoshaantie – temporary bus stops in use
Traffic arrangements on Hakunilantie will change during week 19. Construction work will move to the eastern side of the street, and pedestrian and cycling routes will be partly redirected back to the western side. These arrangements will not affect motor vehicle traffic. The Raudikkopolku bus stops
Rajatie will be closed to motor vehicle traffic starting 11.5.
Motor vehicle traffic on Rajatie will be cut off over a distance of approximately 40 metres east of the Rajapolku intersection in order to prevent through traffic. The closed section of the street will be converted into a route for pedestrians and cyclists.
Rock excavation works continue in Kirjastopuisto
Construction of the Vantaa light rail is progressing in Kirjastopuisto. According to current plans, rock excavation works in the area will continue until summer. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Processing of rock material begins in the Plootukallio area
Construction of the Vantaa Light Rail is progressing in the Aviapolis area. The next phase is the processing of rock material in the area.
Works on the Vantaa light rail expand to Ratakuja
Construction of the Vantaa light rail will soon begin on Ratakuja as well. According to current plans, Ratakuja will be designated as a worksite during the week starting 4 May. At that time, Ratakuja will be closed to both vehicle traffic and pedestrians.
Summer season passes will not be sold for Kuusijärvi electric saunas due to renovation

Vehicle traffic and bus routes will be diverted from Aviabulevardi to Turbiinitie starting 18 May
Construction of the Vantaa light rail is progressing in the Aviapolis area. From 18 May onwards, routes for vehicle traffic and buses will be relocated from Aviabulevardi to Turbiinitie. Please check the latest local transport information in the HSL app.
Safety and comfort in the Myyrmäki station area will be improved
The City of Vantaa is investing in safety in the area around the Myyrmäki station. Starting in 2025, several safety-enhancing measures will be implemented in central Myyrmäki, with a focus on the station area and the surrounding streets.
Construction begins on Tilustie and the new tram street connection on Rivieranraitio
Construction work on Tilustie and Rivieranraitio will begin in week 16. As preparatory work, topsoil will be removed and surcharge embankments will be constructed to strengthen the ground. The first phase of construction will not cause any changes to traffic arrangements.
Construction on Hakunilantie begins on the section between Raudikkokuja and Hevoshaantie
On Hakunilantie, changes to traffic arrangements and the delineation of construction areas will begin in week 15. The traffic arrangements concern the west side of the street and will cause changes to pedestrian and cycling routes. Vehicle access will remain unchanged.
