More than 80 hectares of new nature conservation areas in Vantaa
At its meeting on 26 January, the City of Vantaa Board decided to apply for protection of Ladaunmetsä forest, Syväojanmetsä forest, the Lamminsuo expansion area, and the Palokallio expansion area as new nature conservation areas. In addition, the draft amendments to the detailed plans for Veromies
Forests are more than individual trees - Vantaa Light Rail compensates for the harm caused by construction to nature
We use an app to track the number of individual street trees that have been cut along the light rail route. This ensures that an equivalent number of new trees can be planted as close as possible to the original locations.
