In-house control of food business activities
In-house control is part of the food business operator's own quality assurance process. It includes an own-check plan and related measures.
Notification of food business activities
You must notify the authorities is you start or close a food business. A notification must also be filed if you make significant changes to your food business activities or the business operator changes.
Food control
The Environment Centre of Vantaa controls the safety and health-related quality of food as well as compliance with food regulations.
Health protection control
Environmental Health Services are responsible for the quality control of drinking and bathing water as well as monitoring health matters related to housing and indoor air. Control activities are also carried out, for example, in schools and day care centres, nursing homes and public sports
