In the winter, you can find an ice hole with steps and some unheated changing rooms at Kuusijärvi beach. There is also a cabin called Karhunpesä (“Bear’s den”) on the beach which has heated changing rooms for winter swimmers. You can purchase a key for Karhunpesä from Vantaa-infos in Tikkurila and Korso. Karhunpesä is open for winter swimmers who hold a key during the winter swimming season from 1 September to 15 May.
