Vantaa to invest €1.2 million in participatory budgeting in 2023–2024
Mayor Ritva Viljanen disclosed at Meidän Vantaa (“Our Vantaa”) participatory budgeting seminar that Vantaa will invest €1.2 million in participatory budgeting during this and the following year. Vantaa will compile principles for implementing participatory budgeting in the course of the spring.
Myyrmäki residents voted on participatory budgeting ideas
The €50,000 earmarked for Myyrmäki participatory budgeting will be used mainly for developing the parks and their activities and improving the cleanliness of the neighbourhood.
Korso residents’ forum invites residents to come and talk about local matters on November 21
The autumns residents’ forum will be a hybrid event, arranged on Monday, November 21, at 18:00-20:00 (coffee served as of 17:30). In other words, you can participate on the spot in Lumo hall (Urpiaisentie 14) or by remote access.
Residents of Myyrmäki can vote on participatory budgeting projects on November 1-22.
Myyrmäki participatory budgeting has progressed to the stage where the residents in the area can vote on the projects to be implemented in 2023.
