How can skills be enhanced at any age? Come and see how lifelong learning, events, science, and art are promoted in Vantaa. Programs for all ages. The Aina oppiva Vantaa network organizes events around Vantaa with the theme “Show your skills.” Admission to the events is free unless otherwise stated.
Värkkäämö workshop
In Värkkäämö, everyone can bring their own ideas to life, learn new skills, and share knowledge. You can use the workshop and its devices free of charge, but a valid library card is required. Värkkäämö is intended for those over the age of 10, but younger individuals can also use the devices
Adult, would you help? The City of Vantaa launched a campaign against bullying and sexual harassment – the videos are based on real-life events.
Adult, would you help? -campaign is aimed at adults and its purpose is to get adults to intervene in bullying, harassment, and other inappropriate behaviour that children and young people encounter in their daily lives. The campaign is part of the City of Vantaa’s Child-Friendly City work

Senior Citizens Council
The Senoir Citizens Council promotes the participation of the aging population in Vantaa.
Courses at Adult Education Centre
At the Vantaa Adult Education Centre, you will learn useful skills or discover new hobbies. We are a adult education centre funded by the City of Vantaa. We arrange approx. 2000 courses around Vantaa every year.
Voluntary activities
