Recreational activities and hobbies for young adults
Vantaa’s services for young adults offer young adults free recreational and leisure activities in cooperation with different service providers. The free and intoxicant-free activities are aimed at local young adults aged 18–29 and they are open to all.
Specialised youth work
Special youth workers work with young people aged 10–17 in challenging life situations.
General upper secondary school
The syllabus of a general upper secondary school comprises at least 75 courses or 150 study credits. The studies can be completed in 2-4 years.
Wilma
Wilma is an electronic service which is a communication tool used between the schools and home. In Vantaa, Wilma is used both in basic education and high schools."

Compulsory education
Compulsory education will end when a young person has their 18th birthday, or when they have completed an upper secondary education degree (matriculation examination or vocational degree) before their 18th birthday.
Music classes for 3rd-9th grades
Music class education starts in the third grade and continues throughout basic education even if the school changes in between. Music classes accept students that are interested in music and who have the prerequisites to study music.
General upper secondary education in Vantaa
In Vantaa, general upper secondary education is provided in five Finnish-speaking general upper secondary day schools, one Swedish-speaking general upper secondary school, Vantaa general upper secondary school for adults and the Sotunki general upper secondary school's adult studies (remote studies)
