Last year, the residents of the Myyrmäki major region voted for more family sports in their area in a participatory budgeting vote. The residents’ wish will be granted in April and May, when several Perhepeuhat sports events will be organised in the area. The events will be organised in cooperation between the City of Vantaa and Sporttia kaikille ry.

Perhepeuhat give children under school age the opportunity to exercise and try out different forms of physical activity with their families. In Perhepeuhat, you can play ball, perform acrobatic feats or try out a bounce pad, for example. The events are free of charge.

Late spring Perhepeuhat family sports events in the Myyrmäki major region:

  • Sat, 19 April 08:30–11:30, Myyrmäki sports hall
  • Sun, 27 April 08:30–11:30, Myyrmäki sports hall
  • Sat, 3 May 08:30–11:30, Myyrmäki sports hall
  • Sat, 10 May 08:30–11:30, Hämeenkylä sports hall
  • Sat, 17 May 08:30–11:30, Rajatorpan koulu comprehensive school

Sporttia kaikille ry will also organise Perhepeuhat sports events in many other Vantaa districts during the spring. Check the schedule in Vantaa’s hobby calendar.

Please note that the Perhepeuhat events are not guided activities, but children and parents will spend time together exercising on their own. Children will be under the responsibility of their parents at the events. It is hoped that the parents will set an active example for the children and that phones will be kept off during the events.
