Registration for multilingual social orientation courses is open!
The Social Orientation course provides participants with a wide range of information about Finnish society. Courses for people outside the labour market, such as parents at home, will be held in Estonian, English and Arabic this autumn.
The course will give participants practical knowledge and skills they need for everyday life in Finland.
Social orientation opens doors to Finnish society
The aim of the course is to give participants a comprehensive understanding of Finnish society and the opportunities it offers. The course topics will be discussed in groups under the guidance of the teacher, through group discussion and learning together.
The course is intended for people who are not currently working, looking for work or studying. Participants may be on family leave with children or retired, for example. If you are looking for a job, ask your coach about the course.
The course lasts 50 hours and is free of charge. You will receive a certificate.
You can take your child with you. A child carer will be present.
The training is organised by CareeriaPlus Oy in cooperation with the City of Vantaa and the Centre of Economic Development, Transport and Environment in Uusimaa.

Enrolment for the 2024 autumn social orientations
Course in English:
Time: 17. September - 14. November 2024 from 9.00 to 11.30. The classes are held twice a week: on Tuesdays on site, Thursdays remotely. No lessons in week 42.
