City Council approves the plan for the Vaakapuisto area

Release

On 24 April 2023, Vantaa City Council approved the plan for the Vaakapuisto park areas. The Vaakapuisto park areas will mainly be turned into block areas for residential houses. The core area of the flying squirrels’ habitat in the eastern Vaakapuisto area will be marked as a protected green zone.
