The alteration to the local detailed plan of the Myyrmäki Urban Culture House will enable the construction of the new urban culture house in Myyrmäki, that is, Elämystentalo, and guarantee the services needed by the growing city. The local detailed plan explores both the renovation and possible expansion of the Myyrmäki House operating at the property, as well as the demolition of the existing building and construction of a new urban culture house.
The alteration to the local detailed plan of Itä-Hakkila will enable the construction of a Migri detention unit in the area. The new building will create 60–90 places for customers and 40–60 jobs. The plan shows the protection symbols for the bare cliffs in the area and their adjacent forest, a culturally and historically significant stone fence and trees that are valuable for the cityscape. The plan involves a land sale agreement, in connection with which voluntary ecological compensation will also be agreed upon.
