An appropriation of €350,000 has been designated in Vantaa’s 2025 budget for summer-job vouchers for the young. The purpose of the appropriation is to help Vantaa businesses and organizations hire young people for summer jobs. In 2025, the young born between the years 2007 - 2010 are eligible to apply for the voucher. The amount of the summer-entrepreneurship voucher is €300, and the summer-job voucher for the young also amounts to €300.

Furthermore, the meeting decided to approve the following needs assessments: repair of Kaivoksela school, basic renovation of Myyrmäki sports house, expansion of Myyrmäki swimming hall, pre-primary education premises and gym for Ojahaka comprehensive school, as well as additional premises for Tikkurila Competence Campus.

Based on the condition and indoor-air surveys conducted in Kaivoksela school, the building is currently in need of extensive basic renovation. In addition to basic renovation, the repairs and alteration of premises ensure that the premises will better serve the operational requirements and needs of both current and future users.

Basic renovation and expansion of Myyrmäki sports house is required to make the building meet the need for sports facilities in Myyrmäki district. The sports house building will undergo basic renovation for the most part, and the swimming hall will be expanded by around 2 000 m2.

Ojahaka’s approximately 1 000-place comprehensive school and gym are needed to meet the basic-education demand in Myyrmäki and the service need for extensive special support in Vantaa. The comprehensive school will be built in two stages. The needs assessment applies to the first stage: the pre-primary education premises and gym for the comprehensive school, which will be completed in 2028.

The meeting also approved the needs assessment of additional premises for the city's Business Development Services, placed in Tikkurila Competence Campus. The additional premises will be situated in the new building, and their purpose is to meet the demands of the increasing number of employees and ever-tightening cooperation.

The city executive board also decided to submit the alteration to the local detailed plan for Harkkokuja in Pakkala  to the city council's approval. The alteration to the local detailed plan will turn the office-building area into an area of commercial buildings. The alteration to the local detailed plan makes it possible to build in the area space-demanding special stores, office premises, leisure-time service premises, and such production premises that will cause no environmental nuisance.

Moreover, the city executive board decided to make the alteration to the local detailed plan for Nuijakuja in Vapaala available for public inspection. The aim of the alteration to the local detailed plan is to build a new three-to-four—story residential building on the lot of Nuijakuja 6.
