Come and watch the Vantaa Light Rail tracks being installed on Kyytitie on 23 July!
A new milestone will be reached in the construction of Vantaa Light Rail when the first light rail tracks are installed in the Eastern Alliance construction area on Kyytitie on Thursday, 23 July, starting at 12 noon. The track-laying process can be watched safely from a designated viewing area located along the pedestrian and cycling path outside the construction site.

Welcome to follow the installation of the light rail tracks on Kyytitie on 23 July!
The first light rail tracks in the Vantaa Light Rail Eastern Alliance construction area will be installed on Thursday, 23 July 2026, starting at 12 noon.
Residents of the surrounding area and anyone interested are welcome to come and see how the future light rail route begins to take shape. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the construction work and ask questions.
The track-laying process can be watched safely from a designated viewing area located outside the construction site on the pedestrian and cycling path near Kyytitie 40, close to Tukkukaupankuja. Please note that access to the construction site itself is strictly prohibited.
The installation work will continue throughout the day, so visitors are welcome to stop by and observe the work later as well.
