Construction of the light rail on Kyytitie
Follow the progress of light rail construction between the Heidehof traffic circle and Hakunilantie. In the future, the light rail will travel along Kyytitie, passing through Kuusikko, Porttipuisto and Kaskela.
The Kyytitie worksite is located in the areas of Heidehof, Kuusikko, Porttipuisto and Kaskela in Kuninkaala and Hakunila.

November–December 2026
- Construction of the bridge over Lahdentie will begin in October
At Lahdentie, Kyytitie will become single-lane and traffic will be controlled by traffic lights. Estimated duration: until the end of 2026. - Work in progress along the entire length of Kyytitie.
- A roundabout is in use at the intersection of Vanha Porvoontie and Kyytitie.
- Vehicle traffic along Kyytitie between Jokiniemenkatu–Heidehofintie–Kanervantie will be closed until August 2027. Access to the Neste unmanned service station will remain available from Kanervantie (from the east).
Noisy works November–December 2026
Work causing significant noise will be carried out on weekdays between 7:00 and 18:00.
- Noisy work related to the construction of the bridge crossing Lahdentie in October.

You will receive information about possible water supply cuts and disturbances in water supply directly from Helsinki Region Environmental Services. HSY will inform about outages on their website, via text messages and paper notifications.
