Kyytitie between Heidehofintie–Sammaltie/Kanervantie will be closed to vehicle traffic from 2 March 2026 – the closure will last until the end of August 2027
Ground reinforcement works, relocation of municipal utilities, and construction of a new bridge and track for the future tramway will begin on Kyytitie. As a result, Kyytitie will be closed to vehicle traffic between Heidehofintie–Sammaltie/Kanervantie from 2 March 2026. Access to the Neste station on Tukkukaupankuja will be arranged from the Kanervantie direction. Detour routes will be provided for vehicle traffic, pedestrians and cyclists during the closure. The closure in this area will remain in effect until the end of August 2027.
Vehicle traffic and bus lines
Vehicle traffic will be diverted to detour routes during the works. The detour route runs via Santaradantie, Kanervikkotie and Kanervantie. The routes are marked on the map at the end of this notice. Bus routes 572, 721N, 736 and 999 will operate via the detour route. There will also be changes to stop locations later in April 2026. HSL will provide more detailed information about the relocated stops and closures.
Walking and cycling
Routes for walking and cycling will change when the pedestrian and bicycle path on the southern side of Kyytitie is opened for use. Temporary changes may occur during the year and will be clearly signposted on site. We will also fence off the work areas and ensure that schoolchildren’s routes remain as clear as possible.
