Construction of the Annefred light rail bridge begins – traffic arrangements also on Tuusulanväylä
Construction of the Vantaa light rail began on Tikkurilantie last Autumn. The construction site will now expand westwards, and we will begin building the Annefred light rail bridge over Tuusulanväylä on Tikkurilantie. According to the current plan, preparatory work will begin in October.

As part of the preparatory work, Tuusulanväylä will be narrowed and the speed limit will be reduced. During this phase, we will build temporary bus stops and prepare temporary replacement lanes. It will still be possible to cross Tuusulanväylä via Tikkurilantie.
Construction of the bridge itself will begin later in the Autumn. At that point, vehicle traffic on Tuusulanväylä will be diverted to the temporary replacement lanes as shown in the image. HSL bus stops will also be relocated by approximately 100–200 metres. We will provide separate information about changes to the traffic arrangements on Tikkurilantie.
According to the current schedule, the bridge will be completed in the Autumn of 2027.
