Arrival by bus
Public transport
You can reach Kuusijärvi by HSL public transport (Helsinki Region Transport) year round. In addition, during the summer season, the bus line 712 operates from Tikkurila to Kuusijärvi every hour at the weekends.
Sipoonkorpi Hop-On Hop-Off
The Hop-On Hop-Off bus transports hikers to Kuusijärvi and Sipoonkorpi National Park on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer season.

Parking is subject to a charge. Parking fee can be paid downloading an app from your smartphone’s app store or using a parking machine on the spot. The first parking hour is free of charge. If the parking time is max 60 minutes, you can use a parking disc. There are 390 parking spaces for cars and 25 spaces for motor bikes.

The parking area has eight accessible parking spaces. They are located at the south end of the parking area, near the Kuusijärvi arrival square.
There is a drop‑off area for passenger traffic at the arrival square. Next to the drop‑off area, about 10 meters away, there are two benches, an information board and route signs.
From the arrival square, it is about 20 meters to the toilet building. The toilet building has an accessible toilet, which is open every day from 06:00 to 22:00.
When you walk from the parking area to the arrival square, the route includes a speed bump. The speed bump is two meters long, with a 7% gradient. The arrival square is a flat and easy-to-access area.
An asphalted route leads from the square to the main building of Kuusijärvi. The main building has customer service, sauna ticket sales, electric saunas, and a café‑restaurant. The distance from the square to the main building is about 80 meters.
There is also a gravel‑surfaced route from the square to the beach. The route slopes gently toward the shoreline. The distance from the square to the beach is about 150 meters.
