Joint application to general upper secondary education and vocational education
Joint application comprises general upper secondary education, vocational education, vocational special needs education, TUVA education, TELMA education, as well as adult education colleges’ open education for those subject to compulsory education.
Introduction days
During the introduction days there is an opportunity of getting to know the academies and the professions of vocational schools. 9th graders, students, caretakers and everyone who is interested in such studies have access to the facilities, teachers and the selection of study-programes.
Recreational activities and hobbies for young adults
Vantaa’s services for young adults offer young adults free recreational and leisure activities in cooperation with different service providers. The free and intoxicant-free activities are aimed at local young adults aged 18–29 and they are open to all.

External Auditing
The external auditing unit, as a subordinate to the audit committee, assesses the implementation of the targets set to the city and the city group by the city council, and assists the auditor on the auditing of the city administration and finances. The external auditing unit assists the committee

Local civic activity grants are meant for supporting activities invigorating the city.
Grants for health and welfare promotion
Organizations, communities, or action groups whose operations promote Vantaa residents' health and welfare may be entitled to the grants. The next application period is on February 1-28, 2023.
Specialised youth work
Special youth workers work with young people aged 10–17 in challenging life situations.
